The term 'personal care' refers to assisting someone with their personal hygiene/appearance, which could involve but not limited too;
People who require personal care and assistance may also require counselling, encouragement, and emotional and psychological support. Our carefully chosen carers are taught to treat individuals with the utmost dignity and respect. We understand how someone receiving this support can feel and we will ensure they feel safe and comfortable throughout. Our in-home care services are tailored to the individual.
The Care Quality Commissioners (CQC) has approved us to offer personal care to persons who are unable to care for themselves due to age, disease, or disability. Any service providing personal care must be registered with CQC as this is a highly regulated activity. Our in-home care services are tailored to the individual.
Prior to providing personal care support, we will visit with the client and their families to gain a thorough grasp of their needs and preferences, we call this a home assessment. After this, we'll create a detailed care plan that our carers will utilise to assist the individual. We assess and review the care plan on a regular basis to ensure that the service continues to suit the person's needs. Personal care, to us, entails not only looking after persons who require assistance with their physical hygiene, but also their emotional requirements.
During their personal care routines, our carers offer full support and encouragement to our clients. All our caregivers are properly trained, supervised, vetted, and insured. Before allowing them to work, we additionally obtain an enhanced DBS before authorising them to work with our clients.
